Content: To whom it may concern,

My name is Linnea Axne and I, along with my mother, own and operate our company My Monday. We design beautiful and unique design patterns for oilcloths and placemats and sell them through e-commerce. Our customer base cares about both their home environment as well as the world´s environment. With that, we are now looking for a factory that can produce fabric for us.

Our business concept is to design beautiful design patterns printed on fabric and then made into tablecloths and placemats. The fabric that we use is made of 100% organic cotton. This fabric is then treated with a CTC-surface of aqueous polyacrylate, which makes the fabric more resistant to dirt and moisture. Hence the fabric is easy to clean and can simply be washed in the washing machine. CTC stands for clean tablecloth, and is the only environmentally friendly material used today to get a textile coating that acts as “oilskin”.

We who run My Monday is Linnea Axne and Birgitta Andersson, daughter and mother. Linnea Axne has a background in sales and has worked in the industry for about 12 years. Birgitta Andersson is an artist and designer, and has worked in the field for over 40 years. Together we are a good team and complement each other very well. Our sales channels are our personally owned online shop and website and we also sell through other e-commerce channels. We sell to the whole world. We are a small startup company but aim to double our sell annually. Hence, we will increase our product range continuously.

The environment is important to us and we are therefore looking for a factory that can produce the material we are asking for:

- 100% organic cotton

- The ability to suppress our own designed pattern on this fabric

- Coat the fabric with a water-based polyacrylate surface (CTC-surface). This coat we ask for equals the oilcloth´s surface, however, the standard oilcloth is produced in most cases with a PVC-surface, and this material is not of interest to us. We are also open to suggestions, if you know of other ways to do this, but at the same time it should be environmental friendly.

We will in an initial order want to produce two different design patterns onto the same fabric and with the same coat. We wish to order about 300-500 meters of fabric in total in our first order. These fabrics will then be shipped to Sweden and possibly the United States by the meter in rolls. If both parties believe the out come has been beneficial, we will immediately raise quantity of order. We are looking for a long term cooperation.

Are you perhaps the factory that we have been seeking and have an interest to work with us?

We are looking forward to hear back from you.
