Estonian industrial output up 2% year on year in November


In November 2013, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 2% compared to November of the previous year, according to Statistics Estonia.

In manufacturing, output was up 2% year on year in November, 6% in October and 2% in Septembner.

Production increased also in the manufacture of food, wood, metal products and electrical equipment. The volume of production fell in the manufacture of electronic and chemical products.

In November, 70% of the whole production of manufacturing was sold on the external market. According to unadjusted data, the export sales of manufacturing fell 6% compared to November 2012, while domestic sales rose 2%.

In November 2013 compared to October, the seasonally adjusted total industrial production decreased by 1%; manufacturing production remained on the level of the previous month.
