Estonia’s stand popular at Hannover Messe
Estonia’s stand featuring 11 companies was attractive at the recent Hannover Messe industrial technology fair, with companies finding new and valuable contacts as well as ideas.
Hannover Messe 2013, held from April 8–12 in Germany, attracted 6,550 exhibitors from 62 nations and about 225,000 attendees, making it the strongest Hannover Messe in the past 10 years.
Peeter Hagen of Uniflex Systems OÜ said that his company introduced a revolutionary Android-based automatic controller and it garnered significant interest among the field specialists. Hagen added that in addition to new potential customers, the company found fresh ideas for future – from competitors as well as from customer feedback.

Tahe Industries introduced its Carisma Sweden vehicle roof boxes at the fair. The company’s managing director, Villu Reimann, said that his company met with new and existing partners and was also able to sell a few of its products at the fair.

The participating companies added that the organisation of the fair was excellent – from the side of Hannover Messe as well as from EAS. Kadri Liivat of Pelltech OÜ added that a lot of emphasis was put on the show and product presentation.
Other Estonian companies present at the fair were Ldiamon AS, Tallinna Elektrotehnika Tehas “Estel” AS, BLRT Masinaehitus OÜ, Molycorp Silmet AS, Innovative Manufacturing Engineering Systems Competence Centre (IMECC), Harju Elekter AS, myLAMP OÜ and Proos Invest OÜ. The participation of Estonian companies was financed by EAS.
