Enterprise Estonia  helped 17 Estonian companies to attend the annual world-class Mobile World Congress, held in Barcelona from February 25–28.

The four-day conference and exhibition attracted executives from the world’s largest and most influential mobile operators, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies and companies from different industry sectors across the globe.

The Estonian companies participating in the fair said that Estonia’s stand was quite popular and they were happy with the results for their companies.

Jurgen Herzmann, carrier relations manager of Fortumo, said that it was a relevant event for his company as he was able to meet with current and potential new clients. “We met with about ten potential clients to whom we will send an offer,” Herzmann said.

Anton Narusberg, leading partner of Cannedapps OÜ, said that the company was very happy with the results, as it got valuable feedback about its future product, as well as new client contacts. “It was an experience what young companies cannot simply get when operating in their domestic market,” he added.
